Full course description

Facilitated by an instructor with a Master’s degree, Project Management Professional and PMI member, this series is designed to:

  • Prepare participants to take the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) exam* through rigorous and PMI-approved content modules that explore the required knowledge
  • Fulfill contact hour requirements necessary to apply and take the PMP exam*
  • Leave participants with an in-depth understanding of Project Management best practices regardless of their decision to apply for and take the PMP exam

The course will approach Project Management through understanding methodologies, concepts, definitions, and approaches of Project Management Domains identified by PMI and their respective topics and processes:

  • Domain I: People (42%)
  • Domain II: Process (50%)
  • Domain III: Business Environment  (8%)

*To achieve PMP certification, each candidate must satisfy all educational and experience requirements established by PMI and must demonstrate an acceptable level of understanding and knowledge about project management test through the PMP certification exam. Candidates who successfully fulfill all requirements for PMP certification must also demonstrate ongoing professional development commitments to the field of project management that satisfy PMI’s Professional Development Program requirements.
